Order Mestinon online and get rid of muscle problem

Muscles form a major portion of our body enabling and supporting our bodily movements. Any disorder experienced by the muscles causes pain, weakness and in advance cases results even in paralysis. Muscle disorders are caused by many factors like Infections, Myositis Inflammation and certain types of Cancers, genetic disorders like Muscular Dystrophy, excessive usage of muscles or injuries caused to them like Tendinitis, cramps, strains and sprains. While some muscle related medical conditions are simple some require severe medication. Myasthenia gravis which is a type of muscle disease requires to be treated with a drug called Mestinon which is also known as Mestinon Bromide.

Product Description

An orally active cholinesterase inhibitor, the chemical composition of Mestinon is 1- Methylpyridinium Bromide Dimethyl Carbamateand 3-hydroxy.

60 Mg. Mestinon in syrup form (1 Teaspoonful) contains Glycerin, 5% alcohol, Lactic acid, Sorbitol, Sodium Benzoate, FD&C Red No. 40, Sucrose, Flavors, FD&C Blue No. 1 and Water

60 Mg Mestinon in the tablet form contains Stearic Acid, Lactose and Silicon Dioxide

180 Mg Mestinon in the tablet form contains Corn-derived Proteins, Carnauba Wax, Tribasic Calcium Phosphate, Magnesium Stearate and Silica Gel

Working Mechanism

One among the many neuro transmitters in our body, Acetylcholine is not only required by our bodies for normal muscle functioning but also to enable muscle contractions and movement. Acetylcholine does not have same effect on all the organs it acts on but produces different effects on different organs. In the case of patients suffering from Myasthenia Gravis or patients being treated with medicines that block normal neuromuscular functioning, the Acetylcholine levels tend to decrease. For treating this condition, Mestinon is prescribed to increase the Acetylcholine levels for the normal functioning of muscular contraction and movements. Mestinon makes it possible by focusing on the nerve junctions attacking the enzyme called Cholinesterase which destroys Acetylcholine. Mestinon’s ability to increase the Acetylcholine levels for the normal functioning of muscular contraction and movements is particularly very helpful after major surgeries.

Dosage Information

As is prescribed for any medical condition, dosages need to be administered to the needs of individual patients and there is no hard and fast rule that fits one and all.

  • Overall 1 to 6 doses of Mestinon suffices the treatment for a mild form of Myasthenia Gravis in adults.
  • Usually 1 Dose is equal to 60 Mg. of Mestinon in tablet form or 5 ml. in Syrup form.
  • Patients who suffer a severe form of Myasthenia Gravis are administered with 25 doses of Mestinon
  • The average is however 10 doses
  • In the case of treatments over a span of time, as prescribed by the medical practitioner, 1 to 3 tablets of 180 to 540 Mg. may be advocated once or twice every day for effective control of symptoms.
  • In the case of treatment prolonging over a span of time, care must be taken to administer the tablets with a gap of minimum 6 hours between one dosage and the other so break through symptoms are covered
  • For patients undergoing treatment with Mestinon over a period of time, the effect may differ across patients based on the severity or complications of their medical condition
  • It is however important to administer rapidly acting regular syrup or tablets to get optimum control of symptoms in the treatment given over a long span of time
  • For patients already suffering from Kidney problems, lower dosages of Mestinon must be administered since a higher dosage may impose excessive strain on the Kidneys during the removal process
  • For children and ‘weak’ patients suffering from Myasthenia Gravis who need only fractions of 60 Mg dosages, the Raspberry flavored Mestinon Syrup provides for accurate dosage adjustments.
  • For patients with bulbar involvement and children, the intake prescribed is morning dosages and due to the Raspberry flavor it can be easily swallowed

  • Mestinon tablets as well as syrup are safe to use when stored in room temperature (i.e) between 59 Degrees Fahrenheit to 86 Degrees Fahrenheit which converts to 15 Degrees Celsius to 30 Degrees Celsius
  • Care must be taken to store Mestinon away from light

As it goes for all medications, the following precautions need to be considered while administering Mestinon on patients

  • An over dosage of Mestinon may result in what is called a Cholinergic Crisis which is a state where the weakness of the muscles increase and as a result of the involvement of respiratory muscles death is caused.
  • If a patient who is administered Mestinon does not show any improvement, it may either be due to under dosage or over dosage.
  • When extreme weakness of muscles is felt along with a severe Myasthenic crisis, it becomes medically difficult to differentiate it from cholinergic crisis through symptoms. In such cases, increase or decrease in the dosage must be done after careful examining of all factors concerned since it may put the patient in a state of insensitiveness.
  • While the Myasthenic crisis needs to be treated with severe Anticholinesterase Therapy, a diagnosis of Cholinergic crisis requires immediate withdrawal of all drugs administrated with the introduction of Atropine to bring the medical condition under control
  • Where Atropine removes the gastrointestinal side effects created, the masked over dosage signs may result in unintentional introduction of Cholinergic Crisis again
  • Since the effect of Mestinon on lactation in humans or it’s level of safety on Women when administered during pregnancy is yet to be established, care must be taken to weigh the possible jeopardy it can cause to the mother and child via-a-viz the conceivable benefits of using the drug
